A good university senior portrait is an everyday precious memory. Back in the delinquent seventies when I was high school everyone was forced on the contracted studio. All the people wore the same style tux employing a ruffled shirt and bows tie. All the gals wore one black dress and held kid rose.
These weren't mature portraits. They were mug shots.
Today's Progressive View
Today's university senior portraits are far more. Schools may still obtain a contract photographer, but many allow more casual portraits definitely submitted for inclusion in your yearbook.
