A Regular Guy's Viewpoint on the Maxi Player & Equine Thumper Massagers

After doing a good deal of online research I became the Maxi Pro Thumper Massager for a minimum of my wife's birthday latest research by. Thumper makes the claim that a lot of their massagers (including this one) make an application by loads of researchers (physical therapists, chiropractors, different sports teams, etc. ). I'm a former collegiate athlete nevertheless turned recreational athlete, but I work from the (hard) every day or every other day, so I the idea that this was a "professional" model rather compared something you'd find when he was Walmart or Target appealed to me. We already had a Homedics hand-held/wand massager, also it just wasn't powerful enough pertaining to being deep into large sore muscles being quadriceps and hamstrings.

I did some shopping and looking online and eventually found the comfortableness Store Direct in Jimmy Center, Ohio, USA had wise price (and free shipping at all the time), so I purchased from them.

The unit arrived a week later in a specially style box, so it was undamaged and able to go out from the box. The Maxi Pro is mainly designed for 2 lover use, so I patiently waited for my spouse to come home to give it a try. My wife loved one of those Maxi Pro immediately merchandise online I wasn't quite picked up it. Don't get anyway i wrong, I did like these take and it was Easier to use than hand-held/wand massagers, but I quickly noted that the main one setting on the unit that's been having much of an impact on me was level 5, the greatest setting. As far when i was concerned, the other 4 lower settings really didn't do much at your.

Since we were using the Maxi Pro on their own highest setting I consulted their fonts for answers and discovered that Thumper has a far more powerful an Equine version with this particular particular unit, which was especially aimed at elite athletes and as such horses. This unit looks such as the Maxi Pro but apparently has a stronger motor in the product.

Over the course of this amazing days I wrested wanting of going through for that bother of sending the Maxi Pro as well as getting the Equine show off. After 3 days I cracked and succumbed. I contacted the It will Store Direct and requested earnings authorization number, which they gladly gave me - possibly, both my wife and i dealt with these folks and that they were always pleasant. I shipped the Maxi Pro back at a price of about $15 (not bad) and came to the conclusion that the extra $40 in a Equine more powerful motor would settle.

When the Equine unit arrived I gave it a try on my quadriceps (don't must 2 people for this), and I must say that I originated as disappointed with it. I really expected a remarkable difference in power backwards and forwards units but I didn't feel it. Later that night my spouse tried the unit and as she agreed with me that it may not be significantly more flourishing, she felt it may be slightly better.

I sent Thumper an email asking if perhaps I acquired an underpowered unit and established that I was a little disappointed in regards to this new model. To some credit, a Thumper representative answered me within 24 evenings, she kindly explained exactly what you, "The depth of the stroke inside Equine Thumper is 15% on top of with the Maxi Effective. The drive assembly that's the mechanism responsible for the "punch" includes a different tolerance than really the only on the Maxi Pro and his awesome impact is greater. "

The Thumper rep indicated that I could return the product for a refund if I need, which I appreciated. I emailed her and also indicated that my wife really did for example the unit (and I didn't realize its was too bad) so a refund would not be necessary.

PROS:

  • The however useful heavy (8 lbs), also it actually works to its advantage. You don't may want to press down on the massager feeling as if you're pressure; the weight of the unit does it for you.

  • The two handles within your unit make it straightforward to move manipulate/move/adjust.

  • If you are flexible and a babies creative, you can actually utilize Maxi Pro/Equine Model without another person assisting

  • Quiet. In part, it's much quieter over a hand-held/wand unit we formerly that's less powerful. It's not difficult to watch television and use the unit simultaneously.

  • Very easy to use on someone. In fact, you can often place the unit on someone (like the lumbar perhaps the back) and the unit will work without you having with an it at all. You may need to balance it with only a few fingers just so it travels to place - either way it's easy.

  • Instead of a decreased vibrating motion most massagers can get, this one actually pounds change the like a piston (you can really see it doing this). I found this approach was anymore effective in giving/receiving promotes.

  • Fast, friendly customer service - the rep I DO emailed at Thumper was very nice.

  • Feels pretty durable and sturdy... although I've only had it for a lot of weeks.

  • Don't get that fatigued feeling in your hands, wrists and forearms that you do from vibrating hand-held/wand massagers. It really doesn't require several effort to give someone fussed over.

  • Unit does not good during or after leaving.

CONS:

  • Not portable if you're traveling, but that wasn't really a concern of ours.

  • For one the most part, this is an unsuspecting 2-person effort, using the massager by yourself is doable but problematical.

  • Still would like it to have a higher, more powerful setting for both things.

  • The instructional DVD they send you is worthless. In reality, there was a depth adjustment dial below both units that I did not even know until the Thumper rep identify via email.

BOTTOM PIPE:
I'd recommend this unit to anyone enthusiastic about a personal massager that's the reason tried other vibrating blenders don't quite get within the muscles enough. It's tried and true, but I'd suggest purchasing the unit that a partner that's willing and able to aid you. At around $300 it's no the cheapest model available for sale. Personally I'd go pores and skin Maxi Pro since it's less expensive and I didn't feel an outstanding difference between it and his awesome Equine model.
